About

Junk Pullers Junk Removal is a family-owned hauling company based in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley. Owner Jimmy Bolger grew up working on construction and remodeling sites. The company takes on single-item pickups, garage and storage unit cleanouts, full property and estate cleanouts, and hoarding cleanouts in homes where the floors can't be walked on. It also does interior demolition, including kitchens, bathrooms, walls and flooring.

Prices are set by trailer load. There is a $125 minimum for one or two items, and a full trailer costs $650. Quotes are free and can be booked online, and same-day pickups are sometimes possible. Donations, electronics recycling and hazardous waste disposal are also offered. The company may suit families clearing out a parent's home, as well as property managers who need regular pickups.

Questions to ask before you hire

  • How do you involve the person who lives in the home, and what happens if they want to stop?
  • Will the same crew be there every day, and who is my contact?
  • Do you handle mold, pests or animal waste yourselves, or bring in a specialist?
  • How do you treat documents, photos, medication and valuables you find?
  • Is the quote a fixed price for the whole job, and what could change it?
