Hoarding cleanup in Phoenix

Hero Cleaning & Emergency Services

Cleaning company, Phoenix area

Owner-operated Tempe company offering hoarding cleanups, junk removal, trash-outs and carpet and tile cleaning across the Phoenix metro area.

About

Hero Cleaning & Emergency Services is a Tempe-based cleaning and hauling company run by owner-operator Duane, who has spent more than 30 years in restoration work, including fire and flood losses. Alongside carpet stretching, carpet repair and truck-mounted carpet and tile cleaning, it clears hoarded homes, rentals, garages and whole houses. It also handles eviction, foreclosure and move-out trash-outs and hauls single items or several truckloads.

For hoarding jobs, the company offers a free in-home estimate and a plan built around the household. It says it works discreetly and does not counsel or judge, and the work can include sorting, organizing, hauling and sanitizing. Junk is priced by the space it takes up in the truck, and the company says most of what it removes is recycled or donated. It suits families, landlords, realtors and property managers who need a property cleared quickly.

Questions to ask before you hire

  • How do you involve the person who lives in the home, and what happens if they want to stop?
  • Will the same crew be there every day, and who is my contact?
  • Do you handle mold, pests or animal waste yourselves, or bring in a specialist?
